  • You did not read the content of Deep In Debt's post before he edited it to completely change the facts
You cannot judge what's "fair" unless you have all the evidence before you.

Glad to hear you've got your problem sorted and I didn't feel the need last night to respond to your posting calling some of us 'IDIOTS' (I quote)

However I am now disappointed that this has now disappeared - maybe it's been edited by the guy's responsible for monitoring the boards. However I hope you didn't edit your post when you talked about other people editing theirs.

    Good luck

A DMP is an informal agreement. You do not sign any declaration that you have given full details, nor is it legally binding.
It may be an informal agreement with the creditors but I'm with CCCS and with them I had to sign an agreement. If I veer from the agreement they'll no longer help me. I know I can do it myself but I find it much easier with their help.

Personally, I would say it's worth the risk. Like I say, I have some much smaller debts and it's clear that some of those will be cleared before I clear the bigger debts, so some creditors WILL disappear before others. If your DMP manager says they can't look after your plan any more you can self-administer. That's what I would do. You're not taking money away from the other creditors - they'll still get their money back - and in bigger instalments too. You're just trying to do the right thing. I'm sure they will see that.
