Newcastle to London City Aiport

Options
In february i need to travel near london city airport, but instead of the train i thought about looking for a cheap flight. Cheapest i could find was £135 travelling 2/2 outward and return 7/2 or pm 6/2.

Anyone help me find a cheap fligh website that has good deals for eastern airways the carrier. As with train and tube, metro tickets approx cost is under £60. but if i can get a goo deal its woorth it as it saves a long train journey home.

I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.

thanks for the reply, but i was looking for a cheap flight to london city airport, i think it would take just as long getting out from heathrow and getting tube all way to docklands area, as i have booked hotel near the city airport (its near venue i am attending).

Eastern Airways are rarely cheap I'm afraid - they are aimed at Business Travellers and as such prices are on the high side, they also as far as I am aware only sell seats direct so not much chance of a discount via another agent/website.

Been on Eastern's Site - if you are prepared to go on the 14:10 flight on 2 Feb and Return on the 12:30 on 7 Feb you are looking at £99 inc Taxes, otherwise you are looking at £150.70 or £180.70 for other times.

Are you attending an event near Excel? If so the GNER Train from Newcastle to King's Cross, tube and Docklands Light Railway will probably be quicker than flying to Heathrow but obviously not City. I had to do that last year on Business before the Newcastle-London City Flights started.

I doubt if you'll get a cheap door to door price to beat £60, you could try Easyjet to/from Stansted but then you've the cost of getting to/from Stansted

£99 is a good price for the days you looked at..it never came up with thatprice when i looked....but i will look again.

But notice that i can get a single from KingsX-Newcacastle at £10 and return if i book GNER now. With tube and metro tickets should come up at around total £40. So not bad..only worth it if journey has no delays.

DAK how long it takes to get from Excel centre by tube and DLR to kings X?
    thanks

Stansted to Stratford by main line train is only approx 35 mins, Liverpool st 45 mins. Trains every 15 mins. Both 15 mons in a cab but I am sure you can bus / tube both.

The Excel is in a pretty rough area. Fine if you do not intend leaving the hotel but those around Canary wharf 10 mins away are also a world away. 1000% better pubs restaurants and bars etc.
I save so I can spend.
