How to work out LHA entitlement?

I followed the links from the entitled-to website but it's all double dutch to me.

Can anyone simplify it?

I am assuming it is just you.

If you are under 25 then you get the shared room rate
If you are over 25 you get the 1-bedroom rate

Go to LHA Direct https://lha-direct.therentservice.gov.uk/Secure/LHASearchIntro.aspx

Tick the square box at the top that says you've read the page

See "postcode search", type in your postcode

From the drop down choose either "1 bedroom with shared facilities" or "1 bedroom self contained"
Type in your postcode and press search

You will then see the weekly amount.
