Current accounts.... the best?

Thinking of looking at moving accounts else where, who would you recommend for current accounts?
At the minute I get 5.12% on balance up to 2,500, mobile insurance, travel, RAC etc etc with halifax for 12.50. One thing I am looking at though is mobile banking which they dont offer.... what would you recommend?

HSBC and Natwest do mobile banking for sure, i think Barclays aswell.
LLoyds send you a free text message once a week to tell you your balance and few transactions and thats free.
  • HSBC or First Direct and would suggest you look at them before looking at anything else.

I have had my HSBC account along time since the midland days never had 1 issue with them.
