Ran out of diesel once as I was hoping to get as much as possible with the 5p off per litre voucher I had.

Ended up costing a long walk and a petrol can

I always take all the toiletries when staying in hotels. It would be a good idea but I never get round to using them and now have a box full in my cupboard - most of them half used. The soap however does get used.

Hahaha, I did this the other day. Got to the petrol station with about 5 miles left in my tank. The queues were so long I had to turn off the engine each time I moved up one in the queue just in case it didn't get me to the pump!
