You mean to disable a User Account rather than deleting it?

Firstly, why the hell would you want to?0

Because 'am the only user & would prefer no password on start up but if possible save settings
SJames is that ok with premium

And neither does that dodgy website that wants to install something....
UAC hardly ever comes up on my computer.0 -

Agreed 100% I've long been an advocate of using XP Limited Accounts to protect oneself from being the victim of an unintentional installation of something 'nasty'. I don't know much about Vista but I figure the UAC is the equivalent of this.
You wouldn't open up your computer (say, to install a new card) while it's still plugged into the mains, so why use full admin rights for everyday usage (eg surfing the net)?
Does Vista have the equivalent of XP Limited Accounts? As you won't be able to unintentionally do anything 'stupid' it won't warn you that you're just about to.0 -

automatic login (which is what you need) isn't covered very clearly in Vista's own help.
This site here has as good an explanation of how to do it as any.
Oh and don't turn UAC off. While I personally thing it's rather flawed, if you're using Vista it's still much better than nothing. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0
