Saniflo Toilet

Can anyone help please? I have a Saniflo toilet in a bathroom that is seldom used........(not I hasten to add my bathroom lol lol) It has suddenly decided to 'play up'. My daughter who has been using this toilet for the past few days has been extremely careful and nothing that should NOT have been put down there, has been.
The motor keeps coming on at intervals all on its own, but nothing happens.
No matter how much I try unblock it via a mop etc. it refuses to budge. The water there is clear...... so this indicates to me its not the usual blockage. Can anyone suggest anything I could try to unblock it? It will cost a fortume to call out a plumber..............

Does the cistern have a small dribble into the pan, this would cause the macerator/pump to switch on periodically, they are fitted with a hydrostatic switch that is very sensitive. It sounds like your saniflow is slowly filling up and doing what it should i.e. emptying itself.The quicker you fall behind, the longer you have to catch up...0
