I'm looking for a car...can you help?

Have you seen my future car parked next door with a for sale sign on it or in your local press? supermarket notice board? Shop window? If so let me know!

Right this is what I'm after:

Audi A4 AVANT (estate) TDi
Any colour
New shape
Sub 60K
Budget: 8.5k

I've been looking for quite a while now but every time I see one by the time I call it's gone so I'm trying this out of desperation :rotfl:

Hey it's gotta be worth a go.

Thanks,

Pete.

Don't worry about mileage. High mileage - full service history - and good condition with no faults can be a particularly good buy, as people have this unreasonable hang-up about mileages - and they sell cheaper. Also if it's high mileage, many of the things that are going to fail, will have failed and been replaced for you. You're also near guaranteed to not have a clocked car. One of the VAG 1.9 TDI engines will probably happily last 250k miles plus anyway if maintained well.

    Hi and thanks.

I have a 320d touring at the min with 126K on the clock and although I am sure it would happily do another 100k I just fancy a change and if I change for a sub 60k it'll mean I'll be happy to keep it a few years as I do 25k+ a year.

    Thanks,

    Pete.

  • like everyone says mileage is not an issue

I tend to buy cars around 90k as anything that will of worn out will of been replaced. great bargains

no reason why the car wont last for 20 years
  • You might struggle to get a new shape A4 Avant for that kind of money...

I'm selling 05 models for about 9000 as S Line spec.

I've seen them for this price on autotrader (there's a couple on there now) with traders but unfortunatly I've never been quick enough and been beaten to em.

    harveybobbles,

I have the cash burning a hole in my pocket if you happen to see a car that meets my criteria be sure to let me know. I'll pm you my moby number if you want.

    Cheers,

    Pete.
