You just cannot tell, Queen. You may be set an IPA at the point of interview, but then again, you may not. You may not be set on at all.

The biggest thing to remember, is a A in IPA stands for AGREEMENT. So even in the interview, don't agree to anything and ask nicely for a full breakdown please to compare to your details. If an IPA is sought, then its negotiable.

Thanks, at the moment there is no surplus apart from £118 which is child benefit, but as the mortgage rate was cut our mortgage will go down from the end of December by approx £275 but in my soa for court there were lots of things that we did not include like holidays, birthday or christmas presents only the minimum for food, no emergency fund, mimimum for clothing I work in a professional capacity so need to look smart i.e. new suits etc, not sure if they allow all of the above as it seems from some posts some do and some don't, I have calculated that if they use the figures fro soa and include any of the above then we will have a surplus of £275 will they take 50% of this

If your mortagage is going down & you find other areas have increased ask for a new I&E form to fill in.

  • Hi I was made BR in on the 24th of July this year, my initial meeting with the insolv people was in August, we are still haggling over the IPA. I have also been granted the Nil Tax code which will start at the end of this month until the end of the tax year. To go against the BR. Hope this helps

Hi I went BK on 3rd April 2008. OR told me to expect an IPA of around £500.00 at interview.

I have heard nothing since and have not been given a nil tax code.
