For those who ordered the cheap PS3/xbox games from littlewoods!

I did post this on the newest thread but I think there may be another thred somewhere for people who have ordered this deal.

I ordered a game with the code so got it for £16.55. HOWEVER just checked bank statement and littlewoods have charged me the full price. I have telephoned them and they say that it will be refunded on the next statement. Not ever heard of this before and I can't understand why an invoice says £16.55 yet they charge you more.

Thought I had best warn you all incase anyone won't have enough in their bank account/on their CC.

Its quite common .. they charge full price and then refund the difference later. Why they do it, I'm not sure, but you will get the difference back.

  • Littlewoods always do that, your refund should show up in the next day or two, as you say it is annoying as you may not have enough in your account.
  • Very strange.

I would expect it is especially annoying if your account allows you to go into an unauthorised overdraught, and you get charged :S

I doubt I will buy anything from then in the future knowing this...thankyou for the heads up!

I had problems with littlewoods where i was overcharged, they refunded it back to the littlewoods account (not a credit account) and not directly back to my card. I had to chase and chase for around 2 months for them to finally refund to the card. Won't shop with them again because of the hassle

  • Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
