For those who ordered the cheap PS3/xbox games from littlewoods!

I did post this on the newest thread but I think there may be another thred somewhere for people who have ordered this deal.
I ordered a game with the code so got it for £16.55. HOWEVER just checked bank statement and littlewoods have charged me the full price. I have telephoned them and they say that it will be refunded on the next statement. Not ever heard of this before and I can't understand why an invoice says £16.55 yet they charge you more.
Thought I had best warn you all incase anyone won't have enough in their bank account/on their CC.

Its quite common .. they charge full price and then refund the difference later. Why they do it, I'm not sure, but you will get the difference back.

Littlewoods always do that, your refund should show up in the next day or two, as you say it is annoying as you may not have enough in your account.0

Very strange.
I would expect it is especially annoying if your account allows you to go into an unauthorised overdraught, and you get charged :S
I doubt I will buy anything from then in the future knowing this...thankyou for the heads up!0 -

I had problems with littlewoods where i was overcharged, they refunded it back to the littlewoods account (not a credit account) and not directly back to my card. I had to chase and chase for around 2 months for them to finally refund to the card. Won't shop with them again because of the hassle:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0
