potterton suprima 30 boiler locked!

my boiler has apparently locked up. the red led light is flashing and pressing reset doesnt do anything.

will this cost much to repair? or can it be easily fixed.

any help greatfully recieved.

I've got one of these ,have you tried switching everything off then restarting................that could free it

yeah have left it off over night and then tried it. still locked

i rang potterton and they just said get an engineer but if i do i need to know if this is going to cost much

You might well need an engineer unfortunately they won't tell you how much it will be till they see the problem................it is most likely your 'overheat thermostat' ring an engineer and just ask if it is this.....how much will it be :-/

1 time in a 100 is totally buggered.......... its too cold to mess about. Get a man in and find a 0% card to pay for it.
