YesGet you Miss Sporty, I am so impressed you know! Did you win anything at Bingo??
Nice day here actually, took Bea swimming and dropped DH at work (only supposed to be 2 hours) then hung around waiting for him only for him to not be finished and ended up coming home on our own. Went and had a lovely mooch along the beach and chased the seagulls. My mum came over this afternoon and she treated us to a starbucks!!
Now im sat in my normal position of an evening on the sofa on hereI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Im joining the gym tomorrow and have a trial so next week I plan on runnning/gym-ing 5 times on total...that should get me fitter I hope! I want to be able to run a marathon eventually!!!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Take care with your knee (speaks the woman who knows!) have you got your sorbathane things that Rich recommends? I think you are doing fantastic for a first week. I think I ran a mile on my first run (all enthusiastic) and then couldn't move for a week! Do remember to give yourself rest days too hun, otherwise you won't see any improvements and you will get bored
Here endeth the running lectureI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Yesplus it's supposed to be something you do to enhance your life, not another stress to add to when you try to fit it all in.......I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0

YesI havent got them yet, but I will get them...
And thanks-I feel very proud of myself-legs feel dead heavy going upstairs etc. so perhaps it was best to take the extra day off...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
YesHi Sallyxxx
I have questions for you all.
I have been thinking for a couple of months that I am generally unhappy with bits of my life. and wondering how I could change it.
So today when I was out shopping and an old guy smoking walked past me - over took me I came to the conclusion that that was a sign of how unfit I am
But I wondered is it actually possible to change from a slob (me now) to a super fit bird or at least a vaguely fit not over taken by old blokes on the street type bird? Have any of you done it? and if so what motivated/motivates you?
