I'm looking to buy a reasonable camera for £50. This Amazon one seems like a reasonable choice to me:
Kodak Easyshare £48 delivered.
Already linked earlier in the thread BTW.

Here's the Tesco camera already mentioned. £47.97 Premier DS-5080

Here's the MSE thread with more info, basically saying that big name camera is going to give better pictures, regardless of the MPixel rating.

I bought the one from Maplins which was featured on this site Christmas week. it's a 5mp, reduced to £49.99 but if you spend over £50 you get £3 off and free p&p. I ordered it on 28th December and it arrived on 30th Dec! The screen is small (1.5"/130K LPTS LCD) but I'm really pleased with it.Good wine needs to breathe, if it stops breathing try mouth to mouth.0

So, basically, for £50 I can expect a reasonable camera. I want mine for Ebay pictures mainly. I'm probably going to order the Kodak item on Amazon now.Happy chappy0

My son bought a Fuji Finepix A120 for £59.99 at Toys R Us, using his Christmas vouchers.
It's got 3 mega pixels, a flash, and it's really easy to use (he's 6 and he got the hang of it in less than a day!). The picture quality is really good and I think he's bought a really good item. You can also take video with it and it uses normal AA batteries (which I'm forever re-charging now!)
The only downside is the memory card that came with the camera is only 16MB which holds 19 pictures at the highest resolution. 7 Day Shop sell a 128MB card for £9.99 which I'm going to buy for his birthday in Feb, so he'll have plenty space on holidays etc. Here I go again on my own....0 -
