loaner - that's only a problem if you need them to burn CD/DVDs...I did address this with the OP, and by the sound of it, he's in the same position as me....other comps in the household which will do this if needed, but for the intended use, this isn't a problem....memory sticks hold much more than CDs..so why would you NEED to burn a DVD ??

    Hi peeps

I just missed out on the last one from bigpockets, as I've no idea what I'm actually buying, hoping someone with more knowledge than me can recommend something within my price range ;)

  • This company sell refurbished PCs

I bought two Compaq Evo N610c in July £250.00 each, including a top quality leather case and they threw in wireless dongles for free.

They will deliver or you can collect from Sheffield which is what I did.

Have just spoken to them on the phone, the website is not functioning properly but you can ring them and order over the phone, very helpful.

The parent company Mckenzie Hughes are a leasing company, so they sell of equipment at the end of the lease.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the link, I've also tried the website which is not displaying any products, no good me ringing as I don't really know what I'm looking for, I think I'll wait until the website is up and running properly.

In the meantime, many thanks ;)

Its worth checking you can get new batteries from ebay or other sources before buying.

I didn't once and ended up with a lovely laptop but could only run from mains.
