    Hi

I just applied on the telephone for the Coop Cashminder Account and was informed that the card would be an Electron. I guess they might be covering themselves for future changes, but it would certainly not appear to be the case at the moment.

I don't want to steal your thread sutton, but could anyone shed any light on why my application this morning has been sent for referral? I assumed with it being a basic account that there wouldn't be any issues, if they look at my credit record for identification purposes, there's plenty for them to look at to confirm I exist at this address!! Chap said I could call them Tuesday to see if I've been accepted....

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. I applied for a basic account and was reffered then accepted a few days later. It's probably just so they can verify your ID etc.

Thanks for that Jvic28, I'll give them a call Tuesday and hopefully get my account details assuming everything's ok!
