    You first have to register here and then when you log into your on-line account, you will see the "Send a text message" at the bottom of the second column of the page.

    i would not recommend cbfsms.com.
    my daughter received texts from this service and was charged 25p when answering them. based in guernsey, charged as international texts.
    free for the sender ,but replies are charged unfairly

    what i don't understand is: where do u (the sender) receive your replies, as you don't even have to register or provide your own mobile number :confused:

    To add a reply to this page, please enter your reply code and memorable word that you set for the reply code. It is impossible to retrieve any replies without the memorable word. The person who replies to you will only be charged for a normal text message by their network - we will not charge them extra.
    I have used it a few times works fine make sure to put its from you. They also put there website at the bottom of the text.

    I have two mobiles, so maybe i will try sending a message (test) to one of my other numbers...i'm just slightly worried about recipients (or indeed the original sender) receiving spam and being charged for stuff; this is what makes me slightly wary...

    Well, have tested it and works fine: did not incur any charges when I sent the text (as I checked my balance) BUT can't seem to pick up replies?? I entered the reply code and password. I replied back to my own number (in other words, i sent a text back to myself), if that makes sense, do maybe that's why:confused:)
