If they repeat it you would be eligible all over again based on your shareholding at that time, although whether you would want to take up those rights is a different question. I did post a longer explanation of rights issues in the share dealing thread, which might help also:

Thanks, very helpful. Practically academic in our case, as we only have very few shares from when Abbey floated, as we were existing customers, but the odd and almost unexpected few quid coming in now and then is welcome! Also we're one of the 'did nothing' brigade as far as this recent offer was concerned.
