New laptop not working properly

I bought a new fujitsa laptop from Staples (£299) on Tuesday and thought it was fine.
However, it runs slower than my 18mth toshiba A120 and today, won't load up properly.
Can I get a refund seeing I've only had it a couple of days?

That would be a start. It's a really disappointing laptop. I know I didn't pay a lot for it but I expected it to at least run better than the old one0

Try uninstalling all the pre-installed rubbish off it. Norton and Symantec products are the first to go. When I got my Compaq, it was truly horrific. Norton AV was chugging away, Norton Internet Security was chugging away and so was Norton Ghost, taking an image. In addition to that, there was a ton of stuff from Roxio and to finish it off, Windows Index Service was indexing the drive.0

All in all, this is a well-designed laptop, delivering basic performance at a great price. It also includes many useful features, such as spill resistance and hard disk protection, that we simply wouldn't expect on a value notebook. Combined with the very usable keyboard and screen, it's highly deserving of a Recommended award0
