Sassy is allowed to post what they like when they like, but if you disagree or argue you will be reported for abuse.

Can't remember exactly but there is a limit to how close to the edge of the tyre the damage is, something like an inch or so, some tyre shops may fix it, but cash only, wink wink. Though it comes down to personal preference, the Ambulance and Police have a policy of gettin a new tyre every time there is a puncture of screw imbedded, but these tyres are probably sold on, for example when I was minicabbing years ago, my car took the same size tyre as the Met traffic plod, my local used tyre bloke used to buy all the punctured ones and repair those that where safe to repair and sell them on, which meant I could get top of the range hardly worn Michelin Pilots for £30, as apposed to £120.
Some say you should never have used tyres on your car, but if you think about it when you buy a car the tyres on it are used aswell, so long as the place selling them is trustworthy then go for it, new is better, but I would rather have a 3/4 worn Michelin for the same price or sometimes less than the price of some tyre from China or Turkey.0 -

I think we should have a sticky on all fora stating that the first thing you should do is ignore one particular poster. Lord knows we need one.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
