Icesave ISA certificate

Anyone contacted the FSCS or know when the certificate will be sent. Is it upto 2 weeks from when you initate your claim, or is it 2 weeks after the end of November.

Im going away for 3 months 30th november and wanted to have it all sorted.

Ive just initate my claim now.

It's 2 weeks today since I received my money back from Icesave. Still no certificate (although the post hasn't arrived yet)...

I've seen a thread on this somewhere on this forum, i think from conversations had with the FCSC helpdesk people it could be two weeks but it could also be up to the end of December.

From invitation e-mail.
"You should receive your ISA certificate within 2 weeks of claiming compensation"

So who said the end of December? Is that fact or speculation?

It's now just over two weeks since my claim, so past the "within" period. I sent them (FSCS) an e-mail yesterday asking about these certificates, as yet not had a reply. Of course "should" is the get out word for them.

when the FSCS have been contacted recently, they advised towards the end of Dec for the certificates to be received.
