just wanted to say a huge thank you to dawnteabags son thomas he made kaitlyns day today. She's been singing and dancing since lunchtime when the postie came. She posted thomas's this morning what can i say she loves her embellishments lol. Don't know who's next but she was muttering about glitter for the next one. she hasn't told me who it's for yet.

oops forgot to put who it was from on the envelope cos she was rushing to post it.

Glad she liked it. I'll not tell Tom the card is on his way, that way it will be a nice surprise.

Seems like its going to be another hot day here in Yorkshire  Im getting a bit fed up now and very irritable, not sleeping too well either. The weatherman keeps forcasting rain for us but nothing happens :(. Nothing happening on the craft front either apart from the fact I have embossed every bit of scrap paper and card I have lol I did some vellum last night and it works a treat just need to find a use for it.

There are some gorgeous cards on your blogs, I hope I have managed to comment on everyones. I am loving the altered containers you are all doing for Rusty's challenge and Gemm your Christmas card is ace. I had a practice with the new free stamp and it worked really well, probably the best stamping I have done. Just watch when I do it on a piece of nice card it will go blotchy!! S*ds Law and all that....
    Right brekkie time.......

Gemm I love your christmas card for the challenge, Did you stamp using brown ink?? I have only ever tried using black and silver, think I might need to go buy a couple of different colours.

I love my OH sooooooo much ...

I emailed him when I got back from work and said he had a parcel arrive and also a letter from someone ... he replied telling me to open the parcel ... I did so and look what was in there ...

He has sneakily ordered them on ebay (his name!) and paid for them without me knowing :D:D I now have labels one, labels 2, blossom and scallop octagon!! I am soooo excited and can't wait for 1pm when I can put missy to bed and go and play!!

Also I have uploaded a card on my Blog that I made last night :)

Hi Rusty, yes I did stamp using brown ink, I am really into different coloured inks at the moment :) I got loads of these versamagic dew drop ink pads from this seller, they are great to stamp with, and also for stamping the ink pad directly onto an acrylic block, then using my water brush with it colour my image in (thats how I coloured Daisy's fur in) have fun with all your new nesties, I am dead jealous!! :D my OH would never do anything like that for me, you hold on to him!!

flourgirl the free stamp was really easy to use, I got a perfect image first time

saveapenny these are my first set of nesties and I love them already, they were really easy to use with the cuttlebug. Just an A plate, then c, then nestie face up, then paper, then a B plate (I use the same B one for cutting all the time, so one B is pristine and one is cut to bits lol)
