Gorgeous fantasy challenge cards flourgirl and mumhug :T :T :T

Rusty, is it Edinburgh your OH is working in? Mine left for Edinburgh at 4am this morning to get there for an hour's meeting and then he's driving to Newcastle for the stag do. He and your OH will be on the same roads!

Can I please ask all you stamping experts, what kind of card do you use when you stamp an image that you then want to colour? I bought a pack of white A4 card from ebay but haven't been completely happy with it (bit thin) and as I'm nearly at the end of the pack want to buy some more white card but not sure what to buy?

    Hi Rainmac,

OH is coming down from Aberdeen but I think he passes through edinburgh? not really sure to be honest.
I buy the pack of 200 or 250 A4 white card from wilkos, it isn't very thick but perfect for stamping and I have also used it for scallop circles. it is about £2.99 but lasts a while and Personally for me it is ideal as it means I don't have to afford things like bazill cardstock.

Mumhug - beautiful fantasy card really pretty, glad your pink card arrived safely and glad you like it :)

Flourgirl - Wow what a beautiful card!! Dragonllew it is beautiful! I have also bought stamped images off ebay and mine was like a linen look and seems to be very thick!

Myzdamena - Nice to see you on here :) What do you use to colour your stamps in?? I bought a pack of whispers and used them once and never again ... the colours were horrible so now stick to my 6 year olds colouring crayons!! I also have some double tipped pens from the pound shop but I have yet to try them properly!

I can finally sit and relax ... DS has helped me tidy up and we have all the food prepped, just need to take the plates out of the fridge and finish putting them on the table but can't do that til I see OH pull up I am absolutely shattered!!

Hi .. I've been lurking loads but only this week started a blog :rotfl: ..give it a few years and I'll maybe enter a challenge.. :o

I use WHSmith watercolour pencils mostly then shove some water on ..or I have started using some of these ..that's the make of the ones I won anyway

Not that I am much good but I won acrylic and watercolour versions.... a box full of sets for £11 on Ebay as a job lot :o .. I'll never be able to use them all myself so maybe I should resell some on Ebay hehe.... not having as much joy though as with the watercolour pencils but I'm only a starter at the moment

looks really naff but I'll get there in the end :)

password myzdamena if you need it

EDIT: here are the paints... which are a very excessive amount considering that I haven't a clue how to use them so they don't look like a huge splat lol

No of course I'm not very good... everyone else's card has shading on... I just colour in between the lines :rotfl:

Mine looks like my 3 year old's colouring :o

...hmm does anyone use the Ebay paint at all? Anyone got tips how to use it?

    Hehe yeah she's the cutest..but I'm biased I guess :)

I get loads of hits on my blog but I only have one follower so it's cool it means I'd open up more than if I thought the whole world were watching

..I really haven't a clue what to do with all that create and craft stuff...I'm not an impulsive person I actually thought long and hard before buying the set..seems such a waste but I knew what I wanted to do with it and it wasn't just sticking the designs on the pre-prepared cards hehe

I won the Big Shot with a papercrafting magazine just after I started making my own cards... I was sooo excited but I haven't been well recently so yesterday we just though Come On let's get it open hehe.. we had a good time but all the bits are still over the table... I don't have a clue where I'm going to put it all but Mini-Me had as much fun as I did trying the Bigz we got with it out

I'd really like to try nestabilities but I'd best wait til I get more money in my PayPal account first
