    Good Morning Ladies

I've been up since 6.30 and done the huge pile of ironing that was waiting for me. It's DHs birthday today and I suddenly realised I hadn't made a card :( so a quick dash into the craft room and made him one with some embellishments of areoplanes I bought ages ago from the Range (good job he's still in bed). It's quite plain (excuse the pun) but I wrote lots of slop inside, I'm sure he will love it :)

Glad to be of help Lips, there are a few people on this thread that have made exploding boxes, they may be along later to help you if you need it.

Kim try this site they do matching cardstock for some Basic Grey ranges. They also have beautiful Imaginisce double sided 12x12 papers. The service is excellent too.

Fab cards on your blog, you make some great mens cards :T The flipping men ones remind me of the old fashioned seaside postcards, you know the cheeky ones you wasn't supposed to read when you are kids :D

Chocolate orange - I love your Rock Fairies Fantasy Cards (even though they scare me !)

Popkins - Lovely cards, I love the bright cheery colours

Crafty Granny - I have started making a wallet card, so far so good !

The wife - I love the bits you made with your SIL - the boxes are beautiful

Hels - Sorry you also had a bad day yesterday. Thankfully all the tantrums with my one have happened indoors.

OAP1945 - Lovely fantasy card for your non soppy friend

Rusty - Hope you are in less pain today - I hope you using your Cuttlebug is not making it worse ;) Maybe you should lend it to me for a week to see :D

Flourgirl - The image of you nearly fainting whilst James Martin stroked your arm has made me burst out laughing :rotfl:

Dragonllew - I love your male cards especially the fishing decoupage one

Hope I have not missed anyone off, have a good day everyone

Here is a card I made for the Fantasy Challenge. I have been messing about with it for days and finally gave up last night. I am not entirely happy with it but I am sick of messing with it too - time to move on !!!

The good thing with it is that the image was a freebie

Rusty - you are naughty!!! I'll probably end up buying these two pads too!!
Kim-possible - I've never used that basic grey cardstock, I use bazzill 12x12 sheets instead, the basic grey seems quite expensive.
EmmaOC - gorgeous fantasy card. The colours are really pretty and the image is so cute.
Dragonflew - great men's cards. I made two flippin cards at the weekend but I forgot to take pics.

Emma OC I love your fantasy card that image is so cute.

I have finally got round to finishing my card for the crafty place challenge I found it really hard I think it was having to put the word summer on it that made it so difficult this is my 3rd attempt to make a card I liked http://dragonllew.blogspot.com/

You say I am :naughty: but then you go and post links to make me spend more money :rotfl:!!

Emma - The cuttlebug is a fabulous pain killer ;) I wonder if I can get the doc to give me a prescription for more embossing folders?? ;) beautiful card for the fantasy challenge ;)

Melissa - Sorry :D:D:D honest :D:D:D I am amazed you didn't buy them before me :rotfl:

I sat last night with all intentions of making a card for the CCC challenge, I got as far as deciding which stamps I was going to use, then coloured them in ... thats it! I have that to finish which is on my to do list with everything else!! The kids are off school tomorrow and Thomas wants us to make a special tea for daddy with lots of variety so I thought I would do a small buffet for us all, which entails me clearing the table and turning it around so I can do this ... hopefully I can get everything done in time for him coming home so he will have a nice suprise and to top it off I haven't touched any ironing this week so really should do some of that!

Flourgirl - Happy birthday to your OH hope he has a fab day :D

    Edit:

Dragonllew you posted at the same time as me, beautiful card, where did you get the stamp? it looks fab!

Emma / Rainmac funny you should say that about children being a nightmare yesterday, I txt my OH last night (he was working late) and said that yesterday was the worst day yet, horrendous tantrums he's going through the kicking, scraming, pulling my hair stage, he won't do it to anyone else, he knows he's got me wrapped round this little finger, he threw a ceramic pot at me yesterday and it smashed, it can be so hard-going!

Just to reassure you that I'm in the same boat.
A HV once said to me that DS was biting me bc he felt secure with me and that it was a good sign - I must admit it never made sense to me but perhaps you will find it comforting
Your little one won't be like this forever though - I never thought DS would stop biting (he would draw blood ) but it just stopped from one day to the next :j.

Sending you loads of hugs as well as to everyone else.

It's not a stamp I googled summer images to try and get some inspiration and it bought this up I thought it was cute so printed it and coloured it. If you want it to add to your site let me know.
