MOrning ladies - sorry for having been awol but things have been manic here - and I've had a dull headache for about 5 days so far! Makes sitting on the pc in the evening not so attractive!

Lovely cards everyone - FLourgirl I love the pocket cards, I'll have to watch the tutorial and have a go. Inspired yet again by the MSE girls!

It's so dangerous getting up early with my little boy-I tend do spend a firtune online while he watches Tv! Just bought one of the sugar nellie lucky bags and am now contemplating a cuttlebug - naughty Niki.

I think I got missed off the list for the sketch challenge but will enjoy getting stuck into the fantasy theme. I loved the conversation about squashed fairies by the way - really appealed to my snse of humour.

Well, I'd better wake the rest of the house up now. Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning Mrs Tidge, nice to see you back :)

I reckon you should buy a cuttlebug if you want one, it is the best thing I have ever had craft wise and I really love mine so much, remember there are codes about to get the price down to about £46 ish this is how I did mine! made it more easier to have one for my B'day even though OH would have just got me one from anywhere bless him.

Todays plan is to try and make a couple of cards, I keep saying it but DD was up til 1am last night as she couldn't sleep due to a nasty cough and the snots (as she calls them! such a young lady!)

    Hi everyone,
Not posted much as am having a hard time at the mo.

    I did make 2 cards - I'll upload them when I get a chance.

Also sorted out my craft things and tidied them in a set of (horrid) plastic drawers I got in Wilkinson's yesterday. BTW, Wilkos also have 160gs white paper that is (apparently) designed for paper crafts and scrapbooking. A pack of 100 sheets was something like £2.95.

I also ordered some Penny Black stamps from Ebay.

Does anyone else feel guilty they spend too much on crafting? Having said that, I never go to the pub/cinema/etc as I've got 2 little ones so I suppose it's my luxury.

Sorry Npsmama that you are having a hard time at the moment - Don't not post on here because of it - come & have a moan about it so we can give you a bit of moral support.

I don't feel guilty about buying craft stuff in particular, but I feel pretty uncomfortable when I look at what I've not used and resolve almost daily to make more cards - I am VERY slow with limited time, think that's why I like the challenges 'cos they MAKE me do something. You owe it to yourself to have some 'me time'/pleasure and card making is useful as well!

Thank you for the info about 160gms paper I use it to print my own backing paper as recommended by Saveapenney, sadly I've still got almost a whole packet.

Congratulations EmmaOC for winning the sketch challenge!!!
Npsmama -hope you feel better soon!! I don't feel guilty about buying crafting stuff - its my little luxury too - I don't go out - ever, and I never buy clothes so I figure I deserve it! Sometimes I think I go over the top though and buy too much!!!
