I love that tree template and it would make some lovely christmas cards. It's my birthday next month and I'm thinking cuttlebug! :j
What's the difference between sizzix and cuttlebug and is the cuttlebug easy to use?

My sil has the sizzix and thinks its ok but she loves my cuttlebug! My Bug is never put away and sits ready to use on my craft table. I have an incurable illness called cuttlebugitus it requires frequent trips to crafts shops to buy dies and emmbossing folders. Yes its very easy to use and once you get used to the idea of different plate thicknesses you can use most othe brands of dies and stencils in it. HTH

Thansk OAP - I'm watching this site which is explaining how to use it and what plates you use and when - it's quite useful. Episode 21

The thing I like about my bug is that it folds up to fit on the shelf unlike the big shot although you can cut bigz with the sizzix one.

I still have my sidekick that I let DD use - she knows she's not allowed near my bug unless she's carrying it up or downstairs :rotfl:.

I think really it's like most things you either prefer one or the other as they both have their benefits - I tried the original sizzix where you had to squash with the handle and it gave me a right arm ache

I found another shop that has the 12inch guillotine for 19.99, postage is 2 quid. I am so very tempted. My new stamps arrived this morning along with my new black ink pad - I need to buy some white card now and I'm waiting for my new batch of promarkers to arrive! I can't advise about the cuttlebug - the only die cutter I've got is the quick squeeze and I never use it.
Kim_possible - I've seen the woodware one and liked the idea of being able to cut with different lines, but I can't justify buying both - aahhh!!!!!

To anyone wondering about a guillotine - buy it :D
I have a small (22cm) one and love it, although I wish I'd gone for the 12 inch one.

I have realised I have no green paper so I might have to have a trip to a craft shop (or 2 or 3 ;)) to buy some.

I also have a blog now, although there's only one card on it so far, but I'm gradually becoming a follower of everyone elses :j

Hi rainmac - no scallop punches here I'm afraid; they're definitely on my wishlist. I cut the circle using scallop scissors - it's not very easy cutting in a circle with them! Just don't look too closely at it. ;)

Wow, brilliantly cut (and I've looked quite closely ;)) :D
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

paddingtondoo - I bought an impress one from ebay - a lot of people using promarkers were recommending this brand - I haven't had a play yet though. I'll let you know how I get on - I have quite a stamping phobia.
