    Fantastic cards everyone :T

I'm going to try a bit of stamping later, haven't done stamping for years cos I was soooo bad at it but want to give it another go as there are such beautiful images around. Will report back with how I get on... ;)

Gemm, thank you sooooo much for the recipe - I was almost drooling looking at the pictire of your fudge.

Melissa - that is so funny about the newspaper, did you notice the picture or did someone else point it out? How are you feeling now? Much better I hope! My son's school hasn't gone in for anything for Easter but the religious story which is fine but Easter hats and bunnies and eggs are lovely and fun for kiddies too. DS1 bought me home a card that he'd made (coloured an image on the front) that said 'Jesus Died For Me'. At his age (just 5) I think that is a bit much. The school isn't a CofE school or anything. We've got parents' evening tonight so I may be bringing it up...

I have just been speaking to my son on the phone and he was telling me my GD came home from school yesterday all upset, because somebody had put nails in Jesus's hands and then hung him up on a cross. She is also 5, deffinately OTT. They were going to see the teacher about it.

Just a quickie, I have just been stood in the post office talking with a woman who was sending loads of parcels (72 to be precise) turns out she is crafty carrot! Also turns out that her husband knows my OH and has done for years  So your parcels are on there way ... she has another 175 to do before the postage goes up! so don't panic!

Kitekat - thanks for the link again - you are fabulous at hunting down bargains.
Saveapenny - I've always fancied going on a cruise - I think it'll be a few years yet before I get to go. I hope your craftycarrot stuff turns up.
Rainmac - I noticed this morning when he put it on and turned around, but by then it was too late to change it. Trouble is he was so pleased with it that he wore it to school - and I have to walk a bit and catch a bus!!! I think that "jesus died for me" is a bit much for a 5 year old. Its funny how school's differ, my son's school is quite mulit-cultural and they seem to shy away from celebrating xmas or easter now which really annoys me.
Rustyflange - such an original card - brilliant!
Npsmama - a split crotch - oh dear!!
    S_michaels - I hope you recover soon.

Flourgirl - so sorry to hear that your GD was upset - no wonder!
Rustyflange - what a coincidence - it must have cost her a fortunesending all those parcels.

I bet it did cause there was some big parcels  some of the others were in white envelopes with big red stickers on saying do not bend :rotfl: must have been papers ;) I don't envy her having to post so many.

She did however say that she will be opening up a new one with digital prints on which can be downloaded and printed. she didn't say when though.

Rustyflange - its nice to know that she's carrying on with a crafting business though, its so sad when little retailers are forced to close.

melissa your hat story made me laugh:D

mary I bet your easter cards are lovely:D

rainmac and flourgirl your schools seem to have gone a bit OTT with the easter story for 5 year olds. my two go to a c of e school and the reception class there made cards with eggs and chicks on.

Thanks for letting me know Rusty ..I just had a feeling that at those prices it must have been too goog to be true.. The largest 12 x 12 one was probably mine...lol I orderd over 80 papers..AGAIN!! I said I wasnt going to order any more till I had used up what I had but at those prices it would have been rude not too
Melissa...we have had top end cruises for as little as £59 each for 2 nights even my husband couldnt believe I had only paid that and thought when he ordered his fillet steak in the restraunt he had to pay for meals on top (ship is on photobucket called NCL Gem) ...Ive got a knack at finding bargain holidays
Rainmac...do you want any decoupage/plain paper to go with your wild blossoms papers ;)
If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel
