THE-WIFE - thanks for those links and welcome to the thread..
Rainmac - superb challenge cards - I've left some comments on your blog!!!
I told a lady at the school today that I was having another boy, she touched my arm and said sorry!!!!!! I think the "sorry" was because she has two boys herself that are close in age like mine and she knows how much work they are!!! It would have been nice to have a girl to craft with, but both my boys are so special I can't wait to have another one!!0 -
I haven't made any cards for a while as I don't have anyone to make them for, have drawn up a stork and baby girl though out of boredom which I will turn into a boy one tomorrow.
It's on my blog if anyone would like to see it*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -

Oh! Thank you SO much Saveapenny! :T
Why didn't I think of doing that myself? I'd got myself really worried by the time I got home that I'd wasted my money........
Thank you - I've now got to get on & make Mothers day card for MIL & a male 60th birthday card & OH will be wanting his tea.
How's the toothache/neuralgia? Better, I hope? Just seen your edit - Oh dear! Sorry Have you tried Whiskey?
Melissa75 - my Mum would have done the same! I have 3 younger brothers Mum always said that if she could have been certain of having a girl she'd have had another even when well past child bearing. Don't know why... perhaps 'cos I wasn't a particularly 'girly' girl. All children are to be loved & treasured.0 -
Whiskey _pale_ I cant stand the stuff...Now Gin I like... wonder if that would work?
Its not quite as bad today but i have been taking Ibruphen <sp> like smarties
I forgot to say welcome to The Wife as well so :hello: The WifeIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
I'd give it a go if I were you - if it is neuralgia then the relaxing effect of the Gin (if you have enough!) will surely help!
I've never had gin 'cos I don't like tonic but can do brandy or whiskey no problem........0 -
Saveapenny, I can't stand whisky but would definately recommend using it as a mouthwash then spitting it out. I had an abcess which I put up with for 3 weeks before plucking up the courage, I tried everything from painkillers to anything that I could put on my teeth, then I tried whisky and it worked really well (although didn't get rid of the abcess) I finally had to go to the dentists when it grew so big it was also in the roof of my mouth
give it a try though if you can. Also try some paramol, it is one of the strongest painkillers you can buy over the counter. hope you feel better soon.
Lovely cards everyone well done to you all.
Melissa - CongratulationsI would have hundreds of boys over girls ... boys I think are easier than girls, although I only have the 1 so 2 together are probably a lot harder! (I hope you dont take that the wrong way :rotfl:)
