Hi all here is my card for the sketch challenge I thought it was going to be easy.....I was wrong I really struggled with what to put in the middle. Still not 100% about it.

Still I had to make an anniversary card anyway so never mind.:rotfl:

The background is handmade paper thats why it's not laying flat.

Saveapenny, Julie H & Mumhug ~ Fantastic cards. Mumhug do you make your own paper?

I may have to be excused this challenge as I am going on holiday early next week for 2 weeks & am having a packing crisis already! How do I get the kitchen sink into a suitcase & more important where do I get some summery clothes from when the shops only want to sell leftover winterstuff Grrrrrr.

I will try the challenge if I get chance.
  • Ok I have uploaded what I have designed so far for people to print off and use, just uploading some pictures of cards I have made and a few other things.

Once that is done, how do I go about sharing the backing papers with you all for you to be able to print? I have put a password on them so if people need this i can PM it to them

    s_michaels - well done for doing that - I wouldn't have a clue

mumhug - great card, really clever how you've used the pattern and done the flower pots with it.

Julie H, I thought your card was embossed too, how clever is that, it looks fantastic. I'm sure someone asked and I missed it but what are the Easter letters - are they stickers? They look really good in the white.
mumhug, lovely card, you used so many different textures. I particularly like the lace and the purple flowers.
  • Hi all

    Julie H - lovely easter card :T

Mumhug - your card is really pretty :T - you've had the same idea as me, to use the shapes as flowerpots (if I get chance to make one)

Thanks for my good well wishes.
Can I ask what to you all will prob be a really stupid question:o - I am making my first card (woo hoo at last :rotfl: ). Its a decoupage card and I've got all the shapes cut out but I'm not sure how many glue pads to put on each bit. I presume I don't cover the whole back of each piece ??
