I have a 'personal' size filofax and I've made my own diary and organizer pages in word. It took a while but once I'd figured it out then it was done and it won't take anywhere near as long next time. Nice to be able to print regular events in too (birthdays, weekly events/clubs etc.) I would reccommend getting a proper 6 hole punch appropriate for your filofax though because it takes so long to punch them with a one or two hole punch. It'll pay for itself after a year or two of diary and note pages.

EDIT: for a money AND time saving option wait till feb and buy pages then. That way you only need to make Jan pages and you could even draw those by hand with a ruler and pen.

Hmmm, will try the Word option again, might buy the 6 holepunch on ebay and see how I get on...

    Hi all,
I ended up buying a Moleskine squared pocket book, then creating my own diary layout with a ruler. The beginning has a full month per 2 pages, then after that a full week per 2 pages. I am reworking it as I go to see how it works best for me.
The definate winner is to have 1 piece of paper that you use to 'dump' all your brain must-do/must-remember items. Just write bullet points on there and cross them off - works better for me than Outlook/e-mail/etc as I am constantly re-reading the list.

  • Hi

    Bumping this thread up.

If you're still after the templates have a look at http://philofaxy.blogspot.co.uk/
They love their filofaxes there and have templates for different sized Filofaxes there including diary inserts.

Edit: All free I might add ;)

    Hope this helps :)

you have so much more scope when you assemble your own, I have been toying with going away from a4 but for now it works really well for me like when i get a letter/bill, it gets punched (lol) and filed behind my calendar page under that months tab.
