I love this idea for a planner - it uses an old book as the cover
http://homespunliving.blogspot.com/2008/01/my-christmas-vacation-1.htmlWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Blairweech - great minds think alike! I saw that a while back and thought 'OOOooooOOOOhhhh I need to make one of those!'. It's gorgeous...
Silvercharming - only thing is, I am sooooo fussy about sizing... the one in my purse needs to be week to 2 pages and not too big - hence my thoughts about making one... I have no qualms about cutting etc, but would have to ask a print shop to cut the pages down to size for me. I figure if I get enough done in one go that would do 2009 and also note sheets/to do lists etc for 2010 as well... I have a normal holepunch but not a single hole punch?
Mags_cat - I have a Filofax, so not sure what Franklin Covey are like, although I am sure they are just as pricey! Mine is the Pocket size.
Barneysmom - I would probably print off my bits and bobs at work, we all print letters/private stuff as and when needed. Not masses so no-one minds the odd thing and I would prob print in batches.MFW #185

Hi all just wanted to bump the thread in case anyone had ideas on how to make my own Filofax refill pages... I know the 'Pocket' size I need is 81mm x 120mm but can't find any templates for this size? Somone must have wanted to make their own before...
Just that the refills are so pricey...

Hi Eagerlearner,
Found this. (there is a trial version for free). Don't know if it does exactly what you are looking for as I can't download the free version here, but it might help you??

Thanks MrsBartolozzi - great idea, I guess at £25 if I were to buy the full vesrionit would take me around 3-4 years to pay back... sadly! I think I will try the free trial and if no joy, fiddle around with Word or Excel and design something to the exact size, which I can then print a few of and cut to size.
Thanks for your idea though as someone else may come along and find it too xMFW #185

Found this american site with free planner pages. I found it a bit confusing at first but it looks really helpful. It has full size planner a half size and purse size.”Pour yourself a drink, (tea for me now)
Put on some lipstick
and pull yourself together”

I wasn't really thinking you'd want to buy the packageit's a money saving site and all that! I just hoped that the free trial might have at least provided a template the right size and you could have put your own lines in or summat clever... don't really do filofaxes so will sneak quietly away now:D .

Not at all - it's an interesting trial  sadly my tecchie side couldn't work out what to do with it so I will try again and actually read the Help guide
Might resort to Word though for an easy option, just was hoping someone had already done a template
Thanks though!
