My husband and I are travelling to Birmingham tomorrow to see a play at the Alexandra theatre for his birthday.

Please could anyone recommend a nice, moneysavingexpert style restaurant nearby?

the bank is nice but pricy..oh,s mate is the chef there (oh is a chef too), they do some lunchtime deals though.
however on a less pricy note, birmingham is full of restaurants to cater to all tastes and budgets, try last minute.com or top table as they sometimes do some good deals or convert tesco club points

im more of a jdwetherspoons type though lol so not the best woman to ask:rotfl:

Theres a restauraunt I love in china town called Big Wok! its about £4.99 buffet and theres so much included. Theyre v.big on birthday celebrations there too!!
it goes up to about £10.99 in the evenings.
