Hi all.
I've been recording off sky onto a RAM disc and am looking to edit the programs I have recorded (removing adverts etc.) and burn them onto discs for playback.
Does anyone now of any free software that would do this??
Any help would be appreciated?

Have you taken a look at Avidemux?
It's open source and will run under most OS's. It should handle most simple editing tasks, but you may need a separate open source DVD burning program as well. The latter seems to be a bit more dependent on what OS you have.0
