OK, you are right, grumbler, there are restrictions - though many are very high.
E.g. on my OneAccount I can do 20K/day (£19,999.99 to be precise) before I have to write to them to say I will transfer more. Same on my Citibank Direct Current, and on many online savings accounts I believe you can 'clean out' the full balance in one go.
Main point I tried (and failed, first time round!) to make is that the cashcard daily withdrawal limits don't apply to online transactions.0 -
limits on current accounts are there for a reason mine is 2.5 K but its wise to check your account requlary in that way you can limit the damage should it happen to you after all you dont have much to do to check your account not saying the unfortunate person is to blame but would have picked up on it much earlier if this was practised also the bank ought to have software in place to trace unuasual transactions and take appropriate action if credit card companies can do it why not indeed banks0
