                    Help needed urgently.
My DD's are taking me to Paris just for a couple of days next week (burfday!!). However one is an impoverished student and the other not currently working.
We've ALL searched for really inexpensive but not nasty accommodation and drawn a blank. Anyone have any knowledge that will help? Really getting anxious now.
Thanks:eek:

A friend stayed in St Christophers hostel a couple of weeks ago-she'd booked £1 Ryanair flights and didn't book her accomodation till the day before she went. Her friend was none too impressed when told she was staying in a hostel but they both said it was amazing value, clean and far nicer than the cheap hotels costing the same or more

            Cheap basic accommodation in France...
I recommend these people http://www.hotel-bb.com/index.phtml - try not to be put off by a few shoddy translations on the website!
Have used them a few times. Basic but fine accommodation, very few staff... end result a hassle-free cheap b&b! They generally charge by the room not the person, so if you don't mind sharing with a few others and can become even cheaper.
They have one hotel in central-ish Paris - close to a metro station here - http://www.hotel-bb.com/detailhotels.phtml?hotelid=4301# just checked to see if it was free but it wasn't working - well it is 3am and companies often take their website offline overnight for maintenance etc.0 -

You may try formule 1 . They are quite cheap as you may get a room with three beds for 32 euros. It makes sense if are travelling as a small group.

we stayed in the hotel on the top of the Hotel Dieu - which is the hospital next to Notre Dame. It's a little strange to get to, but it was about £100 a night for the room, and we saved a fortune as everything was then within walking distance.
