I notice that HSBC plus has free Roadside Breakdown assistance but HSBC premier does not - I would have expected that the higher account would have it too

anyway what other accounts have free stuff like this - preferably without monthly fees

thanks

not sure if any offer for free, but you'll find most banks, which you pay for account you will get breakdown assistance, Natwest advantage gold, halifax ulimate reward, Barclays additions etc.
  • Yeah, you'd be hard pressed to find an account that will give you breakdown assistance for free - especially considering plain current accounts tend to make banks losses in the first place.

Lots of car insurance companies now add on breakdown cover for £40 or less. This is cheaper then paying the £12 a month or whatever with premium bank accounts.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
