The AA estimate 36 minutes for my commute from Stortford to Stevenage.

The reality on a good day is 45 minutes
If it rains, it can be anything up to 1 hour 10.

Wait for January, don't buy now. If it's gone, it's gone, but there are plenty of other houses in the area.

    Thanks,Eltawater
Was going to say your last post is really helpful.
Bishops Stortford is definitely a nice place, kept an eye on it before, just think it is a bit long for my commute.

You've probably already thought of this, but when planning your commute don't forget the part once you get into London. I'm lucky enough to be able to walk to the office from my station (Kings X), but if you end up having to take a tube or a bus then you'll want to allow for that.

Nevertheless, it never ceases to amaze me that my commute to work is shorter than those of colleagues who live in London!
