ive got a wii and am thinking of connecting it to the internet, preferably wired if i can, but i was wondering if its worth it, ive read that not a lot games allow you to play other people online, is this true, ive got a poker game, mario at the olympics and a few other games.
and whats the cost of going on line, i'm with sky broadband's free broadband, wouldit be included in the internet i use for my pc
i dont hve a wireless connection set up, but i think skys broadband can be made wireless,
how easy would it be to set up a wired connection, and can this be used at the same time as my internet on my pc
thanks

List of wii online games

There is also a lot more can be done with the wii like using it as a media centre and stream movies and music to the console as well as look at photos and things.0 -
I use my Wii on a wireless connection on my Sky b/band. Doesn't cost any extra, and although you can use both the Wii & the PC at the same time, they may run a little slower than normal as both devices are trying to use the same connection - better to have one switched on rather than both IMO.Where there's a will, there's a way to get something cheaper from somewhere else!!

I've never noticed any performance issues using a PC and A wii online at the same time. I've happily played Company of Heroes online while my Wife plays Mario Kart online.
BTW Mario Kart online is superb, probably the best obline Wii game.
In addition once you've got yopur Wii online you can download the Virtual Console games and WiiWare games. World of Goo is currently rated as the second best Wii game ever on MetaCritic and is a downloadable WiiWare game. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
