If this rise holds it'll break the recent falls. 1090 for the SP500 is a big hurdle to take on and usa jobs data is this week, todays figures, ADP Non-Farm Employment Change were a bit worse then expected

You aint seen nothing yet. It could be alot more volatile then this if it did not hold

Well! job figures and 1090 successfully negotiated.

  • Im withholding judgement till after the holiday weekend  I think it may be the larger decisions are made after not before in general.
Volume yesterday was low and today about average, selling comes with higher volume most usually

Im always net long so dont mind if it keeps going up. 1100 and 1150 are the next major barriers.

Euro is going up in time with this all and dollar is back to mid august lows well rid of its previous uptrend so it fits so far.

Except yen is far too strong and yen is largest funding currency in the world (as opposed to largest debtors, usa or even ourselves rely on foreign cash)

Dow expected to open higher after some solid economic data, it has already bounced the Ftse.

Well, that didn't last long, seems like profit taking for the Qtr end was the excuse.

  • The Dow rose 2% today, closing at its highest level since the Sept. 2008 bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers http://on.wsj.com/agfsvc

I got 20% of funds in usa so I should feel richer.
However the dollar lost three quarters of a percent or over 1 percent against the british sterling
So any gains for Brits have to be halved. Its never simple :o

Those indexes are proving very resilient at the moment.
