    Finally, i never actually got an answer to one of my original questions.

    Has my ex Landlord Breached Data Protection Laws by informing my employer of my debt even though they did not provide a reference for me or act as guarantor? they simply confirmed i was employed by them and provided salary details.

    this has now gone to a mediation service, the landlord offered to knock £250 off the debt but i declined, now havent heard anything for 3 weeks, anyone know where this could go?
