Hi everyone
Recieved my statement today from Abbey and I am being charge £70 for going over my limit by £11 for a day (as soon as I realised I corrected it) I phoned them up as I cannot afford to pay it this month. Got a really snotty woman on the other end stating that if I couldnt pay it I will be charged again at the end of the month, all I wanted was it moved to the next month as I am not being paid this month from work! I asked if I could speak to someone more senior and all she said was to email the complaints department and hung up on me.
I have emailed the complaints department both with the original query and about the way I was treated as all I am trying to do is stop myself getting into more trouble. Now I havent heard back from them and really worried as I dont know where I can get the money to cover it all I have going into that account this month is my child benefit and tax credits (£4 a week) and really cannot afford to pay £70 out.
Any advice would be great
thanks in advance
