techwood 26" digital lcd tv £229 @ Morrisons

Hi, morrisons currently have a 26" techwood digital lcd tv on offer for £229, it is a 26" widescreen, it is hd ready, with a built in freeview tuner, and quite surprisingly for a tv of this size has 2 hdmi inputs, its on a when its gone, its gone promotion, HTH Dave

EDIT: this tv also has a slot in it, so you can put a card in it and subscribe to setanta.

just to let people know, morrisons have also just got in 32" versions of the same tv for £280, HTH Dave

I bought the 26".. cnt get the digital tuned in but thats prob my fault!

Apart from that its a great TV.. excellent crisp picture x

:eek: not much point in having a digital tv, if you cant tune in the digital channels , dave

Just took our newly purchased 26" back. It wouldn't tune in all the freeview channels, the analogue picture was poor and their technical support team suggested an aerial booster. Did that and still no good! Techwood then said "it happens in some poor reception areas". Rubbish, the old, cheap freeview box with an even older TV worked perfectly. Don't buy unless you have a perfect signal.
10 out of 10 for Morrisons who refunded straightaway.

have you got an old crt tv ? they have a much better picture unless you have an hd input

If you are a Morrisons employee make sure that if you are going to buy the 32" TV that you buy it on Wednesday 26th November, it retails at £279 and with staff discount being at 15% for that day only, you would be able to buy the TV for only £237.15, now that is an outstanding price I believe!!!:T

is there an echo in here :rotfl: :rotfl: , not much of a bargain if you cannot pick up the digital channesl though, as appears to be the case with 2 posters in here, so how many in total i wonder:rolleyes: , Dave

I can't get hdmi ports to work with my playstation 3. I get a blue screen. Looks like its going back.
