                    Since installing
 UKonline broadband,
  UKonline broadband,
my anti-virus has been working overtime.
I have pop-up stoppers, adaware and spybot.
Yet something in my registry keeps popping up the site belonging to Adultfriendfinder.com.
My pop-up stopper privacy report shows I have two run history items none of which mention friendfinder.
Where in my registry do I get rid of any automated run histories.
I use Windows XP.

run your spybot and adaware in safe mode
 http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001052409420406?OpenDocument&src=sec_doc_nam
and download + install Microsfots own free spyware
 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=321CD7A2-6A57-4C57-A8BD-DBF62EDA9671&displaylang=en
and run that in safe mode as well
you may need to turn off your system restore if it keeps coming back as it may be hiding in there (then again run the above in safe mode)
Might be worth running your anti virus in safe mode while you are there !!Ex forum ambassador

Don't forget to turn restore back on again when clear.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

How do I get to safe mode?
I pressed escape with system restore on to get to it then remembered I needed system restore off and could not get to safe mode again.
I am trying again with safe mode after posting now with system restore on.
By the way, I am not a !!!!!! person but did visit and resgister with the site I mention in the past.
Unsubcsribinbg has been doggy, they won't stop sending me emails.
