Hi all,
I hope I've posted this in the right place as I am a constant reader but never a poster!
I'm always looking at the Benefit website but it seems you can't seem to get the products much cheaper anywhere. Possibly on eBay.
Had anyone had any good experiences of Benefit either buying on eBay or elsewhere?
Also, has anyone been to a Benefit stand where the staff have actually helpful? I've gone to buy things a couple of times and refused to as the staff have been so unhelpful, I'd rather order online!
Thanks in advance.

Have you looked on the QVC site?

I never buy make up from EBay as you can't tell how old it is?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

I have a some Benefit products that were in a beauty hamper I won at John Lewis (the one near me has great "beauty night"s with champagne, nibbles and prizes!) I've been thinking of sticking the ones I won't use (Dandelion blusher and a tube of cream blusher) on eBay but I'm worried people will think they're fake or old! lol
I agree that staff on their counters aren't that great, though the one in London Liverpool street branch of Boots is great!- plus if you buy it from Boots you can get advantage points.
Are you signed up for their newsletter? there's sometimes offers in there.0 -
Fragrance Direct website and TJ Huges usually sell Benefit at a discounted price x0

eBay should be fine if they look genuinely unused. The staff at Benefit get £200 every 6 or 12 months as a voucher to spend on the website! So you see a lot of stuff turning up on there that they order (not meant to sell it on but they do).
Other than that, find a friend who works there - they get 40% off.
My OH is an accountant and worked there for 9 months on a contract - happy days. :rotfl:0 -
I like benefit makeup alot but have to limit myself as it is expensive.I have used ebay 3 times (twice this week and once last month) and I have saved myself money and recieved perfect items from the current xmas range.I can pm you the sellers if you like but you should easily find them by doing a search-check the feedback before bidding and you should be fine.
I have also always had good experiences with benefit staff a my local counter in debenhams and I used my £5 off today with no problem.
The best way though imo is Boots online shop-They have extra points offers sometimes with say 1500points on a £60 spend etc so by buying benefit and usuing further codes you can usually get at least £15 to £20 back in the form of points if you have an advantage card to use on anything else you may need .They also have instore special xmas evenings with bonus points so worth checking if your local boots has a benefit counter and spending then.
QVC have a couple of items which are alot cheaper than anywhere else even with the cost of postage and they sometimes do one time only low prices.
sorry for the long post but I have never seen benefit on sale so I always try to find a good way to save a little bit when buying it.hthLove can tame the wildest0 -
Wow, thanks all this is really useful.
Checked out the QVC website - that is faband we have a TJ Hughes in Watford nr me.
I think what puts me off atm is I have a few Benefit bits but theres so much I want and it's where to start. Plus I went to a beauty evening at House Of Fraser .... BTW it was GREAT!!! As someone said above, free nibbles, samples etc and I blew my make up budget on a load of YSL! Which is a little silly as it's more expensive!
Any way .... rambling but thank you for replied all, much appreciated0 -
Reading my tv mag last night and found this... 10% off Benefit (must be fate)!

Non-Fiction Foundation and Benetint are basic musts.... A good foundation is worth paying for as whatever's on top ends up looking good.Benetint is lovely for rosy cheeks in winter (I switch to the Dallas powder in summer - their brown tan bronzer is too dark for my cheeks but Dallas is sort of a red-brown). Also love their Creaseless Cream eye shadows.
My whole No.7 filled make-up bag got replaced with OH worked at Benefit and was given freebies in the office.0 -
I order direct from the Benefit website in America, the shopping cost to England is only a couple of dollars and you get 2 free samples with each order.0
