By 10 November no money & no explanation - I've just found out that they're having "computer problems" with accounts maturing 1st-3rd Nov which has still not been sorted. Means I've lost out on last week's 1 year FR offerings  - that'll mean another complaint letter!!
My Skipton matured on the 2 November and when I visited my local Branch on the 4th, they were letting people withdraw all their money apart from £1.00. The £1.00 is to keep the account open so that they can add on the interest when the problem is fixed.
Needless to say, my wife and I withdrew everything apart from £1 and invested in the YBS 6.5% Fixed rate bond. The branch kept our passbooks and I instucted them to transfer everything into my daughters leap account when it's all sorted.
One small bit of good news, they are paying the Special Saver rate until the interest is added on and it changes into an instant access account.0 -

I found that out when I made a special trip to the branch. Still no comms from HO however which is absolutely disgraceful. Couldn't make a branch withdrawal as passbook had been sent to HO. Have now just received a chq for all but £1 - but best FRs have gone. Complaint letter in post.0 -

Took me days and a few messages to get money transfered from my eSaver to my eISA last April.
Maybe next April I will send the message a few days before to give them a few days to amke the transfer, End of Feb maybe.0 -
