    yeah.. go for the D70 if you can... i have the model down from it, the D50, and, that is only 6mp too, and it takes amazing photos... print up to A4 without a problem at all!!!!

    I do have a compact point and shoot camera, mainly take it to the pub, and messing about, and that is 8mp, and the quality isn't the same... higher megapixels, lower quality...

    ebay is one of them places either people love or hate... a bit like marmite really..

    some people have had 1 bad experience and never go back.. me, i've bought, sold, and had a couple of dodgy experiences, but nothing drastic, so i keep plodding on... research your seller, ask them questions, double and triple check their feedback, all standard ideas..

    check your local second hand camera shops, you never know what bargains you may uncover.. check amazon.. the market place there is good, and maybe a little safer than ebay..

    but, for second hand (rather than brand new goods) you normally will get the person who has the item... rather than the brand spanking new must have gadget, where people put on, try make a quick buck, and scoot... fast...

    that's how i see it anyway..
