    HI,
I've recently repaid the card in full and haven't used it since.
6 weeks ago - 3% fee and 3% interest on balance transfers.
2 weeks ago - 0% on purchases till April 09

I didn't take up either of those offers as I am waiting for 0% on BT.
  • was the 3% one a for the life of balance? that wouldn't be too bad if it was!

Not "recently", but 6 or 7 weeks ago...

6 months (+ a bit due to statement date manipulation ;)) 0% BT, 0.75% fee...

    and...

0% on purchases for 7 months (running concurrently with the above).

One of my better negotiations. :D
  • do mbna ever offer life of balance for decent rates?

I am not sure now. I don't think so though. Otherwise I would have taken it. I think it was only for 6-9 mths, something like that.

Virgin/MBNA deals in the last 2 months that I know of...

    1) 2 months back-- 0% 12 months BT 2.98% -- by OH
    2) 5 weeks back -- 0% 9 months BT 1.98% -- by a colleague
    3) 5 weeks back -- 0% 9 months BT 2.98% -- by myself

mine was not great as of today but my cash is in 6% ISA so relatively I am making money as long as I can keep rolling it.
