I've bought myself a new camera that takes XD Memory Cards - It comes with a 16Mb Card, but I was wondering where the cheapest place is to get higher value ones.

Do you have to use an Olympus xd card in an olympus camera?

Does it affect the quality if you use a different make of xd card (for example fuji) for your camera?

If not, which make is better?

No difference.... XD Is just the type of card only.

Whatever you do, don't buy from the supermarkets. I did, and I regretted it later when I saw that it was about £10 cheaper online. Can't remember where now. I was just browsing...

http://www.picstop.co.uk this is the site that I purchased my xd card from, 512mb £39 delivered in 48 hours.We can get 500+ photos on this card came in very useful on holiday, the card is not a copy its the real thing ,my price may be out of date as I brought mine around march 2005.Hope this helps.
