How to measure for a corner bath panel.

Hi
I have an awful corner bath which i am going to have to live with for a while (prob quite long one!) however it has a really old mahogany panel which looks awful and has seen better days, and i would like to change it for a white one.
I have seen one on b&q which is very reasonably priced, but these are available online only so i can't go to store to check sizes etc and as it is corner bath not sure how to measure:o do i just measure around the curve of my old path panel:o i know i sound thick but don't want the hassle of ordering then returning .
TIA

Its not that straight forward. Generally you can't replace corner bath panels as they are all different. The b&q one will be designed for a particular b&q bath. Thats what I've heard anyway.
I also had a corner bath with a horrible bath panel. The panel had been constructed by the previous owners from some wooden panels. I covered it in mosaic tiles and it looks much better now.
Maybe you could cover yours somehow or make a new one.0 -
Hi Janie
Thanks for your reply.
 it looks like i might have to live with it then.
I don't think i could tile it due to the style and it being panelled.
It was prob very nice/fashionable when it was first bought.0 -
It might respond quite nicely to a coat of paint. It certainly would not look any worse than you say that it does now.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Thanks for your reply col
I would not know where to start painting this as it would prob need all sorts of prep and i am not to good at diy.
Thanks anyway.0 -
I am not talking about a work of art here. Just buy a cheap brush and some white primer undercoat and a small tin of what ever finish you fancy.A quick rub down to get any loose stuff off, and away you go.I can afford anything that I want.
