Massive Font Size - please help!

Hi!
Was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to change the font size when browsing the net. In settings the font size is set as normal and on the desktop and other applications everything is fine but when I am on-line browsing on the net the font size is huge making it very difficult for me to read things easily. Looked all over to find out how to do this but have come to a dead end.
Would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.
Many thanks
Happy x

    Hi Happy,

If you are using IE, then in the 'View' menu, look for 'Text Size' - you may well find it is set to 'Largest'. There should be something similar in FireFox, but can't check that as I'm at work...

This setting can be very easy to accidentally change if you hold down the 'Ctrl' key and turn the mouse scroll wheel, so that might be what happened.

  • CTRL and scrolling the mouse wheel worked for me in Firefox, it should do the same in AOL :j
  • AOL is not a browser, it's a web page.

Ctrl + 0 (zero) goes back to normal
    Ctrl + - smaller
    Ctrl + + bigger

I'm sorry if I seem really thick here, but I have tried what you suggested and nothing has altered, the only thing that happened when I did ctrl + 0 was that it opened another web page. Tried to make it larger and smaller but nothing! Am i supposed to have closed all the windows before I do this, I did it while I was on this web page?

    Sorry to be a pain.

  • It might be me not explaining properly, the text and picures and everything seem too large for the page.

Simple response here - DON'T use the AOL web browser - it's awful! You're better off using AOL to connect, then IE or (my choice) FireFox for your actual browsing. :)
