A cat and a baby on the way. Doesnt sound like a flat share scenario to me. Have you spoken to the council about housing - you should be a priority (not because of the cat).0

Small Claims Court. The End.
Make sure you have a copy of all correspondence with this man. Don't get heated about it in court. State your facts, present your evidence. If everything happened as you, you have nothing to worry about. He has no justification for his actions, so the judge will have to rule against him.0 -
Do you have a full name & address for this guy?
Have you visited the house?0 -

Charliestwins!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi!!! How are you?!
No im not too worried to be honest about my email address! Im sure noone out there is too interested in emailing me! And it would be very easy to find it even if they did!0 -
Ok, so you have his full address, you have e-mail proof that the cat was welcome, you have e-mails of him being unreasonable (changing his mind) ... The LL exists (i.e. it's not a scam) = time to go to court!
GOOD LUCK

Good luck with this. The landlord sounds like an idiot. You're in a very strong position, you'll get your money back although this is a hassle. Reject his £125 offer, he has no reason to keep a penny. He broke an agreement. Good luck.0 -
Hi there everybody,
I emailed the landlord and said i had sent the letter and no longer wanted to deal with this over email unless he wanted to give me the full amount.
Now, he is my bestest friend in the world again and is giving me the money back in full!!!!!!
Thank all,
Toni0
